WOW! Whichever way you chose to vote today, history was going to be made either in a black president or a female vice president. History was made tonight. I am going to go buy a newspaper tomorrow morning so that Cameron can look back on it and remember what happened in his first year of life!

John McCain's speech was very humble and dignified. I think that it was a great speech and he truly seemed sincere about what he was saying. President Elect Obama's speech was awesome. We had a little election party with Elaine and Ryan (who are history teachers) and I can see the speech that Obama gave being reprinted in history books. It was very uplifting.

My sincerest hope is that Americans can back our new President and rally with him for the change that this country truly does need.
