Kaytie was fixing Noah some lunch today. Noah was playing with the phone (which is kind of broken) and Cameron was playing on the bear rug. All of the sudden Cameron starts crying really hard, and then Noah in turn, starts crying really hard. Kaytie thinks that Noah was trying to brush Cameron's hair with the phone (Noah loves brushing peoples hair with anything that even remotely resembles a brush. The other day he was brushing my hair with his toothbrush.). So Kaytie came running in from the kitchen to see what was the matter, and picked Cameron up because he was crying so hard. When she picked up Cameron, it made Noah sad and he started crying even harder. So Kaytie calmed down Cameron eventually, put him in the swing and then picked up Noah. She then called me at work to inform me that Cameron had a scratch on his head and she thought it was from the phone. She kept apologizing, but I seriously couldn't be mad at that. Could you? I can only imagine how hard it is for her to babysit two babies under the age of one and a half. Plus, it will just make Cameron tougher in the long run, and when I picked him up after school I couldn't even see a scratch! I imagine this is what their faces looked like as they were crying:
