'Tis the Season! Rian and I had two parties today and one later on tonight.
Party #1 - Owen's 2nd Birthday
Keli and Tad's little boy, Owen, turned 2 today and had a "Little Einstein" birthday party. The best part of the day for Owen was that he got a rechargeable Thomas the Train toy. That was maybe the first present he opened, and he didn't even pay attention to any of the other stuff he got. It was pretty funny. Keli just opened all of his presents for him. We did not get him the Thomas the Train, we got him bristle blocks. Hopefully he will give them a chance! :-)
Party #2 - Elly's 4th Birthday
For those of you that remember, Elly was our flowergirl at our wedding. She was just 15 months old and was so cute toddling down the aisle. Well, she is now 4. Her party was a ruckus of little kids. One little girl was sitting next to her while she was opening her presents, and apparently Elly wasn't opening them fast enough for her, so she would just open them and then hand them to Elly. My Mom was there and noticed, so she got in there and regulated. The dessert was pink and blue cupcakes.
Party #3 - The Gallegos' Holiday Cocktail Party
This is just for adults. YAY! We haven't gone yet, but Cameron is going to my Mom and Dad's and Rian and I are getting dressed up and heading out! I am excited because we have been invited every year, and never been able to go because we were in NYC for DECA. (I didn't have to go this year!) Check back tomorrow for updates on this shindig.
