Rian and I headed south to the Springs today to see CSU play Air Force. The game stunk, we got our butts kicked and it was cold. However, there was the flyover.
I should have expected it, it is the Air Force Academy after all. But, I didn't and I was in complete shock when I turned to my left and here comes an F16 right over the top of us. I felt like it was so low that it might hit the stadium lights. And, so loud, that the entire stadium was shaking. Right after the jet flies over the stadium, it shoots straight upwards until you can't see it anymore. It was awesome. I got the chills. Then, I see all of the cadets pointing to the left again, and two more were coming. I told Rian that the flyover was worth the $30 ticket. It was so amazing.
